the origin of the national day:
The term "National Day", originally referring to the celebration of the country, was first seen in the Western Jin Dynasty.

the origin of the flag:
The five-star red flag is the the People's Republic of China national flag stipulated in the the People's Republic of China Constitution and was designed by Zeng Liansong in July 1949. Among them, red symbolizes revolution. The five stars are yellow, which symbolizes that the Chinese are yellow people. The big star represents the Communist Party of China, and the four small stars represent workers, peasants, intellectuals, and the national bourgeoisie (that is, the so-called "four people" of the original "people, peasants, workers, and merchants", but according to the communist ideology, the order was changed to "Workers, peasants, intellectuals, and merchants").
